In line with my goals and principles for "Backhands Optional", first and foremost everyone's in charge of their own journey.
My overall goal is to inspire more people to self-sufficiently pursue becoming more complete, including ambidextrous, athletes. And maybe give them some pointers how to make progress.
Based on your interests, goals, and status, there may already be great coaches around to help you move forward and achieve certain breakthroughs. Maybe you just have to ask them to also be open to try something new, e.g. look into the ambidextrous element. If that's not part of the respective discipline already.
I can imagine helping someone to get started, unstuck, over a hump, or to re-think what they've been doing. Maybe within a block of ~10 individual, interactive sessions. If there's serious interest I'll set up application criteria, process, and form for that. It'll have to be post-pandemic and likely in Germany - so maybe as part of a week of "stay and play'.
I'm also interested in interactive, multi-discipline "train the trainer" sessions to introduce and iterate on the concept and ideas presented via "Backhands Optional".
Generally happy to speak to and with schools, universities, and companies as well. Anything that may have a positive multiplier effect.
For now, while I'm building out these resources, interested folks can leave a comment here and we'll take it from there...
