Why ever get bored, or not knowing what to do?
Similar to a good mission statement for a company: if you have a grand vision for yourself you can always think of ways to help get there and have plenty to work (and/or play) on.
So for example when waiting for someone, something, or being limited or even locked in by a pandemic, it's really mindset and imagination that might make you feel stuck.
You can always watch, read, write something. Especially nowadays we pretty much have the world at our fingertips at all times.
For physical activities, how about finding other ways of practicing that may benefit your main pursuit(s)?
Write a recap and/or a statement of how you're progressing, and then the next milestones and goals, and how to possibly get there within any current constraints.
Maybe some sort of your own curriculum or other structure can help not to wonder.
Maybe come up with ~3 ways to - optionally - use downtime. Do you have something to write, play with, swing, lift, stretch at the ready?
As with anything in life, downtime can be used. If rest & relaxation does you good, then choose that consciously and enjoy it. ~1 conscious downtime day / week may not have been such a bad idea after all...
