How to view ambidexterity in the context of evolution?
Are we meant to be "one-sided"?
Or is evo even neutral about it?
People live longer now => time and makes sense to develop both?
Before, maybe evolution had to prioritize developing 1 side only? Doing the learning somewhat quickly, then better switch to an application for survival?
I read about a study that found people's weak hand tends to get better as they age, and the other gets worse.
Maybe that's hinting to
1) having more time now and thus also unconscious use, repetitions, and cross-training,
2) S-shaped learning curve including the at some point diminishing returns, and
3) "use it or lose it" on the strong side, likely along with onsetting decay (yikes!)
