How to practice

(SAMPLE POST, STILL IN DRAFT MODE, LMK IF YOU'D LIKE ME TO WRITE THIS OUT)

Premise: Overarching goal of becoming a (more) complete athlete

References: goals, principles

What are weaknesses and/or possible strengths to work on, along that path?

Find what's not good enough, that then needs repetition and assessment.

Repetition best practices to make that effective: working with balls, against the wall, in a way that you don't spend much time on other things than the actual exercises.

Assessment options: self-awareness, mirror(ing surfaces), video, targets, comparing to pros, feedback from others, ...

Look for and celebrate breakthroughs - anything you couldn't do before you started?

Pause or stop when you get tired or something starts hurting.
